About: C. C. Evans

This is the story of my journey within Christendom - from a faith of protest to the orthodox faith of the Fathers. As Chesterton wrote in a short piece titled Why I Am a Catholic, “Numbers of much better men have been sincerely converted to much worse religions.” I prefer to use the term “reconciled” when speaking of this particular journey because I did not start out Catholic so I am not a “revert”, and this is not the story of my journey to Christendom so I am not a “convert”. I am Catholic. Why? I think Chesterton put it best when he wrote, "The difficulty of explaining “why I am a Catholic” is that there are ten thousand reasons all amounting to one reason: that Catholicism is true."
